To earn your certificate and digital badge you’ll need to complete every course component listed on the navigation menu on the left. You will see that there are a number of sections (headlined in bold), and that some sections have a number of elements within them. You can move through each element by clicking the blue Next page button on the bottom right of every page. To gain credit for having completed each element or section and to track your own progress, click the turquoise Next button in the middle at the bottom of each page. Experiment a little–you will soon see how it works. In some cases, you may find that we stop you moving forward. This may be because you have more activities to complete before you check the turquoise Next button. Be thorough and thoughtful and it will all work out!
For the most part, you will be learning at your own pace, returning to this Certificate portal when it suits you to read, watch a video, or take a test.
When you complete this self-paced course, you will also be required to sign up for a LIVE mentoring session, where you will have the opportunity to work through two private company governance case studies with the guidance of an experienced private company director. In order to add value to the discussion with your mentor and peers, please be sure to have completed Required Reading, Knowledge Check and Webinars before your LIVE sessions take place.
